Sin duda 2012 es un año muy cinematográfico. Hay quien dice que nos esperan acontecimientos apocalípticos dignos de la mejor película de ciencia ficción. Pero para nosotros, lo que hace a este año especial para el cine, es algo real y cercano: FIB Cortos pasa a ser FIB Cinema, un cambio de nombre necesario para redimensionar el festival.
FIB Cinema es el festival de cine del FIB y un lugar de referencia en la escena audiovisual internacional de contenidos que vinculan el cine y la música. Nuestra programación (del 9 al 15 de julio) reincide en esa idea a través de la sección oficial de veinte cortometrajes a concurso, que han de tener algún tipo de conexión con la música, sección oficial de videoclips, proyección de largometrajes, documentales de bandas, musicales y festival invitado.
Queremos hacer disfrutar a los asistentes ofreciéndoles la posibilidad de evadirse durante unas horas a través de buenos e interesantes contenidos. Un relax productivo que no dejará parar a nadie en toda la semana del festival, porque si el cine es genial, con música más.
There's no doubt 2012 is a very cinematographic year. They say we're in for apocalyptic events worthy of the best science fiction movies. In our case, this year is important for closer, more tangible reasons: FIB Cortos becomes FIB Cinema, a timely change of name to redefine the festival.
FIB Cinema is FIB's film festival and an international landmark in the scene of events that link music and films. Our programme (from July 9 through 16) insists on that idea with the official selection of 20 short films related to music for our contest, an official video selection, screening of feature films, documentaries, musicals and the presence of a guest festival.
We want the audience to enjoy and escape for a few hours through great, interesting contents. Productive relaxation that will keep you busy the whole week of the festival, because if films are fantastic, accompanied by music they are even more so.
