Bienvenidos al Festival Internacional de Cortos FIB.
Este verano cumplimos once años y el cambio de década trae interesantes novedades al Festival para que no os lo podáis perder.
En el 2010, FIB Cortos se acerca a FIB Heineken a través de la música que cobra un especial protagonismo en relación a otros años.
La sección oficial acogerá 15 cortometrajes internacionales, con la particularidad de que todos ellos tienen temática musical, o están vinculados a la música de una forma especial. Desde el experimento audiovisual que es Sonar a la historia de un grupo de rock que pierde a uno de sus componentes en un accidente de tráfico como en Turn me on, dead man, estamos muy orgullosos de presentar esta cuidada selección de trabajos internacionales.
También abrimos una sección de vídeoclips a concurso, con una muestra de las piezas más sorprendentes de todo el mundo y donde tú serás quien otorgue el premio al mejor realizador.
Nuestro festival invitado este año es el original Stragiht 8 que nos presenta una selección de sus mejores piezas. En consonancia con esta propuesta, el colectivo Ciszak Dalmas Tamagno va a documentar toda esta semana de actividades en formato analógico: Súper 8 y fotografías Polaroid y 35mm.
¡Este año también tenemos cine de verano! Lunes, martes y miércoles proyectaremos por la noche en el Teatro de Benicàssim el musical West Side Story de Robert Wise y de la mano de Avalon presentamos el documental Joy Division de Grant Gee y Gainsbourg (Vide de un héroe) del realizador francés Joann Sfar.
Esperamos que este verano también disfrutéis del cine en Benicàssim.

Welcome to the FIB International Short Film Festival.
This summer we turn eleven and the new decade brings interesting changes to the Festival, making it a must-see event during the Festival week.
In 2010 music has a starring role in the FIB International Short Film Festival, as it takes a step towards the music festival, FIB Heineken.
In the official section we´ll see 15 international short films and this year they are related to music. An audiovusual experiment like Sonar or the story of a rock band that looses one of his members in a car accident like Turn me on, dead man, we are proud of presenting this careful selection of international works.
There will also be a videoclip competition showcasing exciting, cutting-edge Works and you will be responsable for choosing the best music video director.
Our guest fiestival this year is the original Stragiht 8 with a selection of their better pieces. In relation with it, the collective Ciszak Dalmas Tamagno is going to report in analog format: Super 8 and Polaroids and 35mm.
This year we also have summer cinema! Monday, tuesday and wednesday we are screening at 22.00 h. at the Benicàssim Theater the music film West Side Story by Robert Wise and thanks to Avalon the documentary Joy Division by Grant Gee and Gainsbourg (Vie Heroique) by the french film maker Joann Sfar.
